Miracle in Estonia - VITALI'S STORY

You have probably heard of the animated children's film, All Dogs Go to Heaven. You have probably not heard of All Russians Go to Hell. "What is THAT!!??," you may ask. Today, I taught the conference attendees about EXAMPLE...how Jesus ministered for three years to give us a model for our lives and continuation of His ministry to people.

I also did an iReach personal evangelism training, and like always, after the book knowledge was imparted, we took it to the streets, out where the people are.

The curious phrase mentioned above came out of the mouth of a man named Vitali. He was outside of his home in the freezing cold (registered at just 5 degrees F). Andrei my interpreter and I were walking around, inviting people to the gospel crusade, and we approached him. I asked him if he knew if he was going to Heaven. He immediately responded with Soviet-era pessimism: "Ya rooski." "I am Russian. All Russians go to Hell!" I jumped on my opportunity, telling him that ALL of us would go to Hell if not for what Jesus did. In the blistering cold, Andrei and I shared the Gospel. When I asked him if I could pray with him, Vitali at first seemed hesitant. Finally, he explained that he was afraid to pray because he didn't know how and was concerned he would offend or anger God! So I told him I would lead him, and Vitali ended up receiving Jesus as Lord. Praise God! Slava Bogo!

iReach KANSAS CITY

November 1-3, Lusk World Outreach held a successful iReach evangelism training outreach in Kansas City, KS. Pastor Eddie Standley says, "It brought new light to the meaning of personal evangelism...very uplifting."

EVERY PERSON IS A NEW FRONTIER

In our modern world, there are few regions or ethnic groups which have received absolutely no gospel message, when considering these regions and groups in their collective entirety. Without any doubt, however, per capita evangelization varies greatly from one area to another. In the United States, for example, one would be very hard-pressed to find even one person who has not at least heard the name of Jesus. In some of the more remote regions of the earth, the percentages of those who have heard of Christ drop down into the single digits.

But regardless of the quantity of Christians among any given demographic group or in any given region, one truth holds true. In God's eyes, EVERY PERSON IS A NEW FRONTIER. Every unreached human being on planet earth is a mission field, a virgin territory.

Never feel that your part is insignificant, no matter how small is may seem in your estimation. Great things start small. Every soul matters. Dare to be one of God's fearless trail-blazers, cutting new paths into the hearts and lives of those who have never heard how much they are loved by God.

Every person matters...

My wife Christina and I were honored to serve as Jesus spokespeople last Tuesday. I was preaching in a small church inside of a retirement community, and there was one lady who sat by herself and listened as I preached. After the service, she slipped out before we got to her, and we found out it was her first time. We could have left it at that, but love compelled us to ACT! We asked around until we found her apartment number, and went direct to her. I asked her if she knew she was on her way to Heaven. She said no. Then, I shared with her that God's salvation is a GIFT... and she responded, "I'll accept it!" We prayed with her right there, and another person was re-born into God's family! Never let someone just SLIP PAST YOU! Jesus has sent us to seek and save those who are lost.

A Family Changed... for GOOD

In Apopka, an entire family was impacted when the power of the good news landed right on their doorstep.  Olga, an immigrant from Mexico, was out washing her car in the driveway of her home, minding her own business.  I showed up with 2 members of our team, and began to talk to her.  She spoke little English, but as part of this divine connection, God sent me - a legal resident of Argentina!  In Spanish (the heavenly language!), I shared the simple gospel with Olga.  She made Jesus Lord, then invited us into her home where her three adolescent kids did the same!  It was a Book-of-Acts experience. POWERFUL. 

Apopka, FL iReach

Here you can see our happy and enthused trainees (right), fresh off the streets of their community in Apopka, Florida.  A total of 53 students from 6 local churches were trained in personal evangelism by Michael Lusk.  In just the first day of person-to-person evangelism, hundreds received a direct gospel witness, and 25 made decisions to accept Christ!
